Within the first part of this article we will share some tips to avoid vocal fatigue as voice over artists by taking care of the voice.

1. Hydrat:

Voice over artists take 2 liters of water daily and increase consumption before making recordings. This decreases the amount of mucus by facilitating the vibration of the vocal cords.

2. Avoid coughing and clearing

These two habits generate a trauma in the vocal cords, since they imply that they are hit violently, Instead, it is better to drink some water and to swallow it with force.

3. Avoid shouting or imitating voices

In the case of voice over artists who work by imitating voices, this must be done with an adequate vocal technique.

4. Avoid using irritants or dehydration substances

Avoid alcohol, tobacco or some medications such as antihistamines or antidepressants.

5. Frequent medical checkups

It is very important to attend the doctor periodically, at least once a year.
